I flew last week and had new episodes to listen to for the whole flight. The love button instantly stores any song or show on Sirius for listening again and again. Can listen anywhere either live or from recordings. The Sirius Stiletto is an amazing product. A great MP3 player as well. I am able to record it when I wake up, listen on my way to work and record the rest of the program when I arrive to work. I listen to Howard Stern and cannot always listen to the whole show. always have new Stern to listen to even when he is on vacation.
I wrote Sirius and their responses to my complaint regarding their lack of accessory support for the model 10 or 100 were laughable. I'm 'reviewing' it because I thought everyone out there who owns a Sirius 10 or 100, or are thinking of purchasing one, should know that the vehicle kit is no longer being made and that the home docking station has become almost impossible to find for a 'fair' price. Buyers of these two radios beware. To be fair to the product. There is nothing wrong with the docking kit.
Easy to install and have your stiletto sirius radio along with you in your car.
Comes with miniature remote control that works great or you can also easily change channels using the push buttons on the docking station itself. I had one permanently installed in my truck, so I needed another one to transfer between my other vehicles and my boat. Highly recommend this kit for anyone who owns a Stiletto SL100. This is the second Sirius Stiletto vehicle docking kit I have purchased. They are very portable so you can transfer them from vehicle to vehicle including boat and RV.
I find using the SL100 with the battery removed helps with the SL100's overheat issues. The occasional overheat lockups still occur with the SL100 but are not the fault of this unit. Very pleased with this purchase - surprised how well it works (when installed and used properly). Get a lot for the money - nice unit, high quality and it works well. I attached it to one of my dash panels with the super duty rigid type velcro (that "snaps together").
